Daily Doubles: Random RevolveClothing.com Model and Sylvana Ward Durrett
Isn't this a great Marc by Marc Jacobs dress? Anyway, when browsing through RevolveClothing.com (in our industry, people, this passes for work), Chic noticed a striking similarity between this lovely mannequin and Vogue's director of special events, Sylvana Ward Durrett.

We're in the Wrong Business, Take 2,312
According to Fashionologie, street style shutterbugs and bloggers alike can make a not-insignificant amount of fric for their sideline shots at Fashion Week. If a global glossy like Vogue picks up one of their photos, they could earn $1,000 a pop. Wonder what Cathy Horyn thinks of that? The Times-itrix rejected all the flashbulb hoopla this season in Paris by calling it "an extremely long walk of shame." C'est compris!

Things to Discuss: La Wintour Covers WSJ.
Mon dieu! Anna Wintour posed for Mario Testino...for Vogue? Mais non. For Deborah Needleman. (Or Rupert Murdoch?) Consider this WSJ.'s first "major get" cover subject. We sérieuesement must wait until le week-end to read "The Business of Being Anna" by Joshua Levine? The heavens may tremble!

Look of The Daily: Michelle Obama in Naeem Khan
Third time's a charm! This weekend, Michelle Obama wowed Brazilians in a gold-embroidered linen shift from Naeem Khan's Spring 2011 collection. This marks not once, not twice, but three times in which the Indian designer's embellished wonders have been spotted on the First Lady. An haute pairing, indeed.

Reason #4,179 We Love Mr. Mickey
Lost in the archives of our interview files, Chic dusted off a tape that captured a moment with Mickey Boardman. Behold yet another reason we can't get enough of Paper's creative director. "I just had dinner with Marjorie Gugelmann, who’s also on Twitter. Even though we knew each other socially, we got to know each other a lot better on Twitter. I follow a lot of gay porn stars and I’ll retweet what they say," Boardman explained. "Every time I would be about to retweet one of them, I would think to myself, 'Now, does Marjorie Gugelmann need to read about this muscle-bound porn star?' She ran up to me at a Halloween party dressed as a clown or something and she said, 'Your tweets are so great. The dirtier, the better. I love it! Never hesitate.' So, now the floodgates are open."

Vintage Video Vault: Twiggy is Madly Mod-est!
In this 1967 interview, Chic's gamine gal crush Twiggy gets bashful about segueing from runway success to superstardom as a singer. The pixie-coiffed waif agrees via an affirming giggle with a newspaper's description of her as "a shy, awkward schoolgirl at morning assembly who hopes no one will notice her." Uber-humble Twiggy acknowledges the many talented songstresses out there, and therefore lays claim to no expectations for her singing success. What else did Chic learn? Well, it sounds like completing the record was a bit of a chore - and a long time coming! Her record deal was inked before Twiggy became the face of the swinging sixties. Curious? Listen in on the modster's musical chops for her one and only UK hit from a decade later in 1977, Here I Go Again.
