Anna Wintour was all smiles after attending the 2014 Vanity Fair Tribeca Film Festival party at the State Supreme Courthouse in Manhattan last night. Page Six announced today that none other than Michelle Obama will be cutting the ribbon on the renovated fashion wing the Anna Wintour Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, but don't count on the first lady to be attending the Met Gala, due to the massive security headache that would result. The New York Post also ran an item today that Lucky could be folding soon, and that EIC Eva Chen would subsequently head back to Teen Vogue. A Condé rep said the story was false.

We've got some bad news to break to you (and/or your mom): After 131 years in print, Ladies Home Journal is shuttering. The mag was one of the "Seven Sisters" of women's glossies back in the day, all of which were traditionally aimed at the domestically-inclined, homemaker set. Its current parent company is Meredith. Sally Field fronts the May issue, and other recent cover gals have included Maria Menounos for April and Kate Winslet for March. The venerable title may live on via special issues, Ad Age hears. The most recent "Seven Sisters" title to close up shop was McCall's, which published its last issue a dozen years ago. Meredith still owns two other "Seven Sisters" books, though—Better Homes and Gardens and Family Circle—while Hearst has Redbook, Good Housekeeping, and Woman's Day.

When Chanel does dinner, it’s no simple affair. As was the case last night, when the brand’s quilted handbags were out in full force and a slew of fashionable faces trekked out in Chanel duds for a bit of supper at Balthazar. The reason for the chic din? It was the annual Tribeca Film Festival Artists Dinner and it drew the likes of Sophia Loren, Robert De Niro, Julianne Moore, Joan Smalls, Derek Blasberg, Lauren Santo Domingo, Jen Brill, Tory Burch, Vanessa Traina, Kate Young, Greta Gerwig, and many more familiar faces. The artists in attendance, who were also being honored, included Stephen Hannock, Tim Barber, Catherine Murphy, James Nares, Alexis Rockman, Clifford Ross and Tony Bennett. With so many tweedy coats and pearl-embellished wares, your Daily was curious about Atlanta de Cadenet’s fave piece. “I love the bag I’m carrying. It’s so fun and colorful!” she explained of her gem-shaped hot pink and orange clutch, before bounding through the front doors of Balthazar to mange with the chic set.

Looks like hunky Matt Bomer is finally getting some major PR! He's landed the cover of the latest Details. Inside the issue, Alfred Molina, his co-star in the upcoming HBO movie The Normal Heart, has some high praise for his performance. "What Matt's done will redefine him," Molina says. "All Matt's professional life, he's clearly been a very good actor, but I think this performance puts him there among the greats."  Bomer also confirms that he plans to be in Magic Mike 2. Can we get an amen?
