Oh, Terry!

Now this is a classic! Terry Richardson had a party on Friday night at former strip club The Westway, and got the thumbs up from his new friends Silk, Flaba and Messiah backstage before they, um, got down and got busy. (Wonder what they do for a living!) Ashley Olsen, Cynthia Rowley, Bill Powers, Jeanette and Jack Donoghue, and Venus came out to celebrate the opening of his new show Mom Dad at Half Gallery on the Lower East Side. Never boring, this guy. Never.

Where does the time go? Dazed & Confused celebrates its 20 year anniversary with a Rankin-photographed cover of Kate Moss, thank you very much. Pharrell Williams, Chloe Sevigny, Eva Green, Jordan Scott, Maxine Ashley, and Josephine de la Baume also take turns with cover honors for the December issue. The British tabs report that our lovely Kate had a little "too much fun" at the anniversary party earlier this month in London. Party poopers.

Ummmm...We're not quite sure why Charlize Theron is in water and a dress on the December cover of Vogue, but Annie Leibovitz took the shot, so who are we to question? Theron tells writer Jason Gay that she's single for the first time since she was nineteen after splitting with actor Stuart Townsend in 2010. The issue hits stands on November 22nd.

Look of The Daily: Michelle Williams in Edrem

Lovely! Lovely!

Lovely! Michelle Williams turned it out in an Erdem dress and Roger Vivier shoes last night at the New York premiere of My Life With Marilyn, which hits theatres on November 23rd. Williams plays Monroe (still can't believe it!) in the early summer of 1957 when she spent a week with an assistant who she met on the set of The Prince and the Showgirl. This kinda screams Oscar nomination, right?

Chic's Weekend Jams

The team of Belle By Sigerson Morrison sent us 11 jams to download to get our weekend started! Without further ado...

1. I Just Don't Know What To Do With Myself, The White Stripes. Sexy mood music at it's finest. If you listen to this while getting dressed, it's scientifically proven to make you 1000% more attractive.

2.  N**gas in Paris, Jay-Z and Kanye West. Obligatory, as they pretty much took over Manhattan this week. For some reason, this song reminds us of a way better version of How Low by Ludacris.

3.  Girls & Boys, Blur. For an elevated drinking game, it's recommended you take a sip of prosecco every time they sing the word "boys." And the word "girls."

4. Mr. Soul, Neil Young. Dark, moody, a bit sinister, but still eminently dance-able. Poof. You're suddenly your own Bret Easton Ellis character.

5. Under Your Spell, Desire. This song will make you feel like you're in the best movie ever. Throw on your favorite satin bomber jacket, cuz Ryan Gosling will be by in ten minutes to pick you up.

6.  Christian Dior Denim Flow, Kanye West. As if we could ever tire of hearing Kanye build "Doutzen" into a rhyme.

7. Monolith, T Rex. The quintessential atmospheric party jam. Pouty and haunting. Listen on repeat, and hopefully some of the cool will rub off.

8. (You Gotta) Fight For Your Right (To Party), The Hot Rats. Spoiler alert: you will have to fight for your right to party. But this version--spare, a tad ironically detached-makes it seem so effortless.

9.  Always on Time, Ja Rule ft. Ashanti. Belle is always down for an old-school jam. And let's face it: these two had chemistry we wish we could bottle.

10. There Is A Mountain, Donovan.  A caterpillar turns into a butterfly in this song. So channel this while you agonize over what to wear. Metaphors, just doing their thing.

11. 6'7,  Lil Wayne. You can never be too rich, too thin, or listen to too much Weezy. Great beat, plus the lyrics are easy enough to rap along with, just in case you manage to get yourself into a precarious late-night karaoke situation.

It's no secret that Chic loves anything totally random, ridiculous and wackadoodle, so this video of retired senior citizens in China cheerfully singing Lady Gaga's Bad Romance (translated in Changsha's local dialect) gives us the happy face. Even Gaga's harshest critic will find pleasure in this adorable performance. Friday bliss!
