Nightlife impresario Brian Mazza and boo of Tinsley Mortimer is turning his attention to fashion with his recently opened appointment only creation Windsor Custom in Chelsea. Tell us more, Brian!

What exactly is Windsor Custom?

It's a custom clothing men's living room underneath The Ainsworth restraurant. We make made to measure suits, custom shirts, suits, ties, pocket squares. I have a fashion background and I've always been infatuated with why men dress a certain way. I believe all guys have style deep down, you just have to find it. We created this living room for the guy who feels insecure and doesn't want to go shopping, or get dragged through (a department store) with his girlfriend. We also created it for the guy who has style and understands fashion and understands fit.  It's a 2500 square foot space. There's a pool table, a bar, all the food is catered from Ainsworth. No clients ever pay for food or drinks.

You make an appointment?

Yes, You get an hour with Ryan Grayson, formerly of Ralph Lauren, who runs the shop downstairs.  I want guys to feel comfortable when their shopping and not have the stress of a department store. You can play your own music. It's a lifestyle that we want to create. It's a great holiday present for a girlfriend or wife to give their guy.

It sounds like wedding dress shopping for dudes.

We're tapping into wedding parties. We can make a bachelor experience for these guys. There's so many things for women to do, but not so much for men.

Wallet damage?

The shirts start at $120-$400. The suits start at $400 and go up to $4000. Everything is made in the U.S. Our shirt turnaround is 18 days and our suit turn around is 4-5 weeks.

What's your fashion background?

I started off interning at Dama'ge Denim when I was in college, and then out of college I worked at Michael Cohen's showroom in sales, and was working with Tag Denim and Arnold Zimberg shirts and then left there and went to Generra where I was in sales and I merchandised for for Saks, Barneys and Bloomingdales for them. I worked there for about a year.

Is designing in Brian Mazza's future?

For sure. I'd love to. We have some projects that involve me designing some stuff. This is something I've been passionate about since I was a kid. My father is the fashion guy in the family and inspired me to think outside of the box and start caring about fabric and understanding color schemes.

The Ainsworth is Zagat's number one sports bar, so how do you think athletes dress, as a rule?

Soccer players are the best dressed. It's obviously a little difficult for some football players and basketball players to dress, but things are getting a little better. Dwyane Wade and LeBron James have style and Amare Stoudemire has that line with Rachel Roy. For a long time, I didn't think athletes knew how to dress, you've often got broad shoulders, big legs, I can understand that, but I have a good sense of what the players need. I can't stand when some of these players have a five button suit, I don't understand that.

Since a few of our readers are not sports fans, who's going to be in the Superbowl?

The Green Bay Packers are going to win the Superbowl, for sure. Maybe Denver will make it.

Help us get ahead of things: any predictions on the World Series?

The Angels stacked up when they got all those players, but I'm a die-hard Yankee fan.

Holla! Are you returning to the Hamptons for Summer 2012?

We're still weighing the options of what we want to do. Right now, it's up in the air.

How's Tinsley?

She's doing really well. She has a big holiday party tomorrow night at our apartment. Only girls, so I'm not involved. She has some projects lined up, which is great. I'm super excited for her. She's such an inspiration to me because she's so successful and entrepreneurial and works so hard. I love being able to bounce ideas off of her. She's been in the industry for awhile. She was super helpful with this venture, helping with the colors.

What has she taught you about style?

She obviously has incredible fashion sense. I'm different in that I don't follow trends that much. If you want to wear a bright color in the winter or certain pattern in an off season, as long as you feel comfortable, wear it. She's always been helpful in supporting me with what I wear. She always dresses really well, so she keeps me on my toes. I have to keep up and be on my game.

Do her dogs drive you crazy?

No! They're the best. They're our little children. You met Bambi, right?

Back to black! We love when an actress looks so perf in a dress that she looks like the only woman in the world who could pull it off. Last night, Rooney Mara attended the premiere of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo wearing an uber-sexy black dress from Prabal Gurung's Spring 2012 collection and Louboutin heels. It's feminine, edgy and shows just the right amount of skin. We're pressing the 'like' button on this. Incidentally, it's Prabal's fave look from the collection.
