Holiday Dinner Chatter With Jason Wu
Forget socks and sweaters! This year the most prized gift is artwork from ACRIA's "Holiday Dinner" benefit presented by InStyle and Tiffany & Co., in honor of the Elton John Aids Foundation. Last night, 275 art and fashion insiders including Francisco Costa, Donna Karan, Steven Kolb, Prabal Gurung, Ariel Foxman, Kate Lanphear, Victoria Bartlett, Ross Bleckner, Lisa Marie Fernandez, Amy Fine Collins, David Furnish, Bruce Weber, and Nan Bush dined by candlelight at the Urban Zen Center. The night was filled with cocktails, a charity art auction, and holiday chitchat. One such festive chatterbug was Jason Wu, who took a moment from art perusing to discuss parties and gift-giving.
Who would be on the invite list for your dream holiday dinner party?
It would have to be with my closest friends and family. In New York I don't have many family members, so it's really my closest friends.
What are you doing to celebrate this year?
Just that! I'm having a dinner for 10 of my closest friends.
Will you be cooking dinner?
I'm not! I'm lazy this year, because it's a short season and I just finished pre-fall. I guess I'm just hosting the dinner party, really. That's still a big job!

A Polaroid camera! It represents The Daily so well; you guys are good at showing the snippets of what's going on in fashion.
