Could it really come to this? “We received specific instructions from Chanel not to photograph Blake and Leighton together,” one super Paris-based photographer told Chic at the Grand Palais last night. Meester and Lively (along with Ed Westwick) have been obviously filming in Paris and interacting on the set, but apparently the niceties end there. Lively, who has spent her time in Paris working on yet another Vogue story (a cover, perhaps?), sat next to Anna Wintour at two shows so far, and was chaperoned by giant bodyguards during both of her appearances while refusing to talk to the press. Meester, who sat in the same row as Lively at Chanel (next to Suzy Menkes), had the opposite experience as she came to the venue early and chatted up every last editor and guest under the Palais roof. You can guess which one was the photog favorite.
