Vente-Privee Gets The Joe Zee Treatment
It's been a year since Vente-Privee.com and American Express splashed onto the U.S. e-comm scene. In celebration of the joint venture, which launched in France over a decade ago, the site's been revamped and has added a new curator: Joe Zee. Why? To create an updated look combined with Zee's stylish eye, which will attract new shoppers. In an age where flash sale sites are a dime a dozen, Vente-Privee's AmEx edge allows for access to the American luxury consumer. Apparently, Europe hasn't yet been infiltrated with flash sale sites, while Americans are all too familiar with the notion. Bottom line: Americans know the importance of fashion on a budget, and Vente-Privee is happy to serve up gently-priced guilty online shopping pleasures.
