It's almost hard to believe that Christian Louboutin was once the shoe guru of choice for Rodarte's Kate and Laura Mulleavy, as current collaborateur Nicholas Kirkwood gets the slightly twisted aesthetic oh-so-right. This shoe from the brand's Spring 2010 collection (that's the one about the California condors spontaneously combusting...or something) is made of sliced-up leather and oxidized metal, for what we can only imagine is a seriously heavy and seriously outrageous chassure.
