Three Dimensional Kicks
These heels created from 3-D printing by Pauline Van Dongen are futuristically fabulous. Designed for her master’s thesis at ArtEZ in Arnhem, Netherlands, Van Dondgen titled her shoe line “Metamorphosis,” and the pieces were recently exhibited in “The Future of Fashion” show in Amsterdam. How exactly did these chaussures come to be? The heels are made of powdered nylon that has been gradually fused together by a computer guided laser. Consider us très impressed.
