It's been a long time since we've given any thought to foot jewelry (since we lost that beloved toe ring in the pool drain circa eighth grade, to be exact)--but according to Joann Pailey, who edited the Elle Shops accessories section of the April issue, we should revisit the junior high staples. Just see page 172: yes, the anklet is back and glammer than ever, with diamond, pearl, and turquoise offerings from the likes of Louis Vuitton, Van Cleef & Arpels, Dior Fine Jewelry, and Monique Péan. Lanvin pumps with chains at the ankle are one thing, but an actual anklet? The jury's still out for nous. What say you, darlings: would you wear an anklet?
