The Lunch Report: Brunello Cucinelli's Bash on Madison Avenue
On Monday afternoon, Brunello Cucinelli hosted a luncheon at the brand's Madison Avenue boutique in honor of the opening of the New York Historical Society's DiMenna Children’s History Museum. "The event is designed to celebrate the innocence, curiosity, and brilliance of the young minds of the world, in hopes that they will carry on the values shared by the museum and the Brunello Cucinelli brand,” communicated Mr. Cucinelli, who unfortunately was not in attendance. (Someone has to stay behind in Solomeo and produce those collections, n'est-ce pas?) Hosts Diana DiMenna, Brenda Earl, Tania Higgins, Simone Levinson, Mary Kathryn Navab, Fiona Rudin, and Jacqueline Sackler greeted guests and showed off the Spring 2012 collection while well-clad waiters tempted guests with entirely too appetizing servings of risotto. Note to shoppers: If you've never tried Cucinelli shoes, now is the season.
