Kristen Bell's Uncensored Thoughts On Airports (and Neosporin)
Acrobatics, petite chicken pot pies, plumes of confetti cascading from the ceiling, a gratis concession stand: yes, all of the above were in the mix at Terminal 5 last night, thanks to Target's takeover of the concert venue to celebrate Falling For You, its three-part short, shopable film series starring the adorbs Kristen Bell. Celebs included Rose Byrne, Anna Kendrick, AnnaSophia Robb, and Nia Long, and the combustibles ranged from layered, pesto-topped sweet potato cubes to a faint truffle treatment on both itty-bitty shrimp tacos or popcorn. After watching the final installment of Falling For You, a posse of aerial whizzes were unfurled from the ceiling, where they proceeded to alternately awe and freak out the vino-sipping fashionettes in attendance (your Chic vacillated between the two emotions, perhaps with a bit more of the latter...). After the soaring, tumbling, and drum-banging wrapped, Chic flagged down Bell to discuss recent faceplants and airport loathings.
What's the last thing you fell for, Kristen?
Do the stairs on my porch count? I have a pretty sweet scar on my knee from having fallen last week.
Hope you've hit up Neosporin for that!
Yes! It heals twice as fast! It works on chapped lips, too.
As well as the cuticles.
Ooh! I've never tried that!
Beyond drugstore digressions, how about a flick pick?
Beasts Of The Southern Wild. It's amazing, truly amazing! It will blow your mind.
Since we're at Terminal 5 for tonight's bash, do you have a fave airport terminal?
Definitely not. I hate airports. Traveling is stressful.
So is it hard to play a constantly-traveling consultant on House of Lies if you loathe airports?
No, because my travel frustrations just fuel how I play that character!
