Stella McCartney’s morning show at the Opera the other day was an intense affair: she attracted father Paul McCartney, Thandie Newton, and Maria Shriver--and it felt like all business. Her W Hotels-sponsored after party in the usual cabaret on the Left Bank, on the other hand, felt like a more relaxed affair. It featured a special performance, lots of fruity cocktails, and countless silver balloons. Ariel Foxman, Jefferson Hack, Amanda Ross, Eva Ziegler and Kate Lanphear came by for their Stella face time while Joan Smalls and Prabal Gurung actually hit the dance floor. “I only came in this morning,” exclaimed Prabal. “But this is Paris, and I can sleep later!”
