Models Dig Solstice's Scorching Shades!

Solstice Sunglasses and the Safilo Group literally took to the streets in MePa yesterday for the launch of Carrera's new 6000 collection. Not even the scorching temps could keep the chicettes away: In fact, it was a major model moment, as Erin Heatherton, Chrissy Teigen and Joan Smalls all stopped by to try on shades while Solange Knowles played DJ. Thankfully, her tunes managed to overshadow the intense rays, even causing a very buoyant gal to happily bounce around the DJ tent. “I want to feel like her right now,” joked Knowles. And where there are PYTs, an Adrien Grenier appearance is pretty much guaranteed, non? Heatherton politely passed on a photo opp with Grenier—fear not, Leo!—to chat with friends about Manhattan's best rooftop bars—obviously a major priority for any summer city-dweller. But Teigen shared a few laughs with the Entourage actor. “I met you back in my old partying days!” she laughed. However, the Sports Ilustrated model's focus is now on her food blog, So Delushious!, not le nightlife. And! Chic also spotted Miss USA Olivia Culpo trying on the new designs while admitting that she's currently "single and ready to mingle." Hot nerdy men, you've been greenlit! Get thee to the Hamptons, as she just may pop up there to get some sun...wearing Carreras, of course.
