SCENE in Paris: Jennifer Lopez Has A Busy Day! Kanye West Hid Where?
Jennifer Lopez brought her daughter Emme (and Casper Smart) to Chanel yesterday morning. Guards created a human chain around them when she departed the Grand Palais due to the pandemonium (in 2012!!!!) her appearance was creating with the paparazzi...Kanye West had an easier time front row at Chanel because he left his seat next to J. Lo pre-show and went nearly incognito, hiding out in section H with the (wha?) American press. Just who was Kanye chilling with? Tim Blanks! Who knew?...Blanks and Michael Carl were the earliest arrivals at Chanel, getting to the show before the 10 a.m. start time. Grace Coddington was the first to get there from the Vogue crew...Aww Alert! A smiling Anna Wintour waved to Karl as he came down the runway during the finale...Valentino showed their collection today at Espace Ephemere...Lorenzo Martone greeted Valentino pre-show...Did Patrick Demarchelier and Mario Testino high five each other before the show?...Man Repeller got a front row seat at Valentino next to Demarchelier! Fancy her...What were Cathy Horyn and Carine Roitfeld laughing about front row? Perhaps Carine was filling her in on Hedi Slimane's "eh" response from editors and buyers...Valentino's collection was inspired by Cinecittà with a spash of inspiration from Cindy Sherman's exhibition show at the MoMa earlier this year...Munich based designers Talbot Runhof gave us a walk through of their red carpet heavy collection today that shows tomorrow at le Hotel Intercontinental. The brand will be opening their first store in Paris later this year...
