Richard Chai Hosts Friendsgiving; Digs Indochine
When Richard Chai isn't chowing down at Indochine, his frond-walled second abode, he's hosting pals and kin alike for the holidays. Can we get an invite next year, s'il vous plaît?
What's Thanksgiving like at chez Chai?
Family and friends! I do a family thing during the day, and then my friends who don't have a place to go usually come over to my place at night.
Sounds like a rollicking party!
Nope, it's just a late dinner.
Are you adept in the kitchen?
I don't really cook, unfortunately.
What's your favorite dish du holiday...for someone else to whip up?
I'm a big foodie, so anything that tastes good. Nothing specific!
OK, since you're a foodie: one of your NYC gastronomic faves, please!
There are those classic institutions that I love; I just had dinner at Indochine.
Love that iconic wallpaper; would you ever crib that leafy print for your apartment?
No, I'll leave that to Indochine so I at least have a place to go as a home away from home!
