Reason 4,253 to Love DvF
Inspiration alert! Diane von Furstenberg celebrated The third annual DvF Awards at the United Nations on Friday night. This year, they awarded Oprah Winfrey (how about that Houston family interview!??) with the Lifetime Leadership Award, Jaycee Duggard, founder of The JAYC Foundation, Layli Miller-Muro of the Tahirih Justice Center, Panmela Castro of Rede Nami, and Chouchou Namegabe of the South Kivu Association of Women Journalists with the honor for demonstrating leadership, strength, and courage in their respective fields. Honorees receive $50,000 in support of the organization, with which they are affiliated from the Diller-von Furstenberg Family Foundation to further their work. Congrats to the latest posse of DvF-honored movers and shakers!
