Grace à Dieu, Karl Lagerfeld's retirement rumors have been laid to rest again (not that we don't love you, Alber!). But if we had no Karl, we would have no incredible quotes--like the following, given to the latest issue of Vice magazine: "I had an interview once with some German journalist—some horrible, ugly woman. It was in the early days after the communists—maybe a week after—and she wore a yellow sweater that was kind of see-through. She had huge tits and a huge black bra, and she said to me, 'It’s impolite; remove your glasses.' I said, 'Do I ask you to remove your bra?'" It's worth the whole read to learn that Lagerfeld never votes, was "very successful with pedophilia" as a child, thinks he might have Asperger syndrome (a form of autism), and he communicates with Anna Wintour in an unusual way. "People I’m really friendly with have faxes," he said. "Anna Wintour has one. We speak via fax. And in Paris I send letters to people. I have somebody to deliver letters all over every day."
