Proenza Schouler's Adventure in Avatars
Models and mannequins seem quite passé compared with avatars when it comes to showing off the latest RTW looks: Just ask the Proenza Schouler boys! Especially when said CGI lasses are doing sun salutations in the desert amid diving dolphins, as is the case with "Desert Tide," a video created as part of an installation for the label's newish Madison Avenue boutique. The fembots are from the digital dimension of online virtual world Second Life, and they're wearing Fall 2013 Proenza threads. The effect? Kinda creepy, definitely awesome! Check out the vid here before it hits six screens in their UES store on Friday.
