Petra Nemcova Almost Departs Dancing With The Stars

The NY Post reports that Petra Nemcova came close to quitting Dancing With The Stars to aid victims in Japan, according to sources close to the model, who barely survived the 2004 tsunami in Thailand and lost her fiance' Simon Atlee in the disaster. Nemcova has since founded the Happy Hearts Foundation, which aids children in the wake of natural disaster. She's reportedly having trouble concentrating on her DWTS rehearsals, but has decided to stick with the competition to get word out on how to help to their weekly aud of 18 million viewers.
