Oscar Hair Obsession: Couture Colour Pequi Oil Treatment
Short or long, Couture Colour's Pequi Oil Treatment kept several starlets' red carpet looks sleek and chic. Hair stylist Chris McMillan applied the treatment to Michelle Williams' pixie cut, for example. “I am often afraid of oils on blondes bu [this treatment] keeps her blonde vibrant without changing the color," he said. Stacy Keibler's ode to old Hollywood glam came courtesy of Peter Savic. “I wanted to create a look that was soft and glamorous to match her gorgeous dress," he explained. The secret behind the smoothness? The oil is harvested from sustainable pequi fruit in the Amazon that's full of moisture-restorers, nutrients, and antioxidants (natch) to keep locks looking lush. A small 0.5-oz bottle will run you only $12 (keep that one in your bag to tame fly-aways).
