He may be French but Olivier Theyskens is a New Yorker at heart--unless you ask him about baseball. But, nevermind that.

What’s the most New York thing about you?
I always had pictures of New York in my bedroom when I was a kid. I guess, I would say the way I eat.

How do you typically eat?
I didn’t use to eat organic and macrobiotic, especially in Paris. I eat really well here.

When was the last time you had a New York cheesecake?
A few days ago. I like Pastis.

Yankees or Mets?
I don’t know what a Yankee is.

It's a baseball team.
Oh, who did you say again? I don’t know who they are...

When was the last time you were in the Bronx?
Years! I think I went to the zoo once.

How well do you know your door man?
I don’t have one, but if I did I would just say hi and bye. I would only be polite, but I wouldn’t know all his stories.
