NYLON and Joe Fresh's Sweet Shopping Relief
On Tuesday night, NYLON and Joe Fresh hosted a VIP shopping event in honor of the mag’s November issue, hosted by Joe Fresh's creative director Joe Mimran and Nylon's style editor-at-large Dani Stahl. DJ Brooklyn Dawn provided the jams (a medley including Stevie Wonder, Miike Snow, and Gotye) as customers emptied the racks to benefit the American Red Cross and its efforts to help victims of Hurricane Sandy. Throughout the evening, Stahl styled looks from the brand's winter collection, leaving her shop in shop totally cleaned out. Marvin Scott Jarrett and Jaclyn Jarrett scooped up a few bright-colored cashmere sweaters; the mag’s fashion director, J. Errico, men’s fashion editor Mitsu Tsuchiya, and market editor Tamar Levine also enjoyed the scene. Adding a little buzz to the spending? Svedka, which created custom vodka cocktails for the event: Fresh Straight Up, Fresh Rising, and Fresh with a Twist.
