Kelly Klein, Tom Colicchio, Mark Feuerstein, Mariska Hargitay, and Jane Krakowski are just a few of the bold faced names expected tomorrow at the Children Museum's Annual Family Fair in Bridgehampton. Klein fills us in on why this day is a fave on her calendar.
Tell us about Children’s Museum of the East End’s Summer Family Affair?
It’s a huge affair that raises funds for educational programs. It’s just a great day at the Children's Museum. I have a five-year-old, and we spend hours there.
What kinds of kid-friendly activities are there?
Last year, there was a caterpillar station: you took one home and watched it turn into a butterfly. There’s also face painting, food, and farm stands! Plus, there’s this incredible fishing boat where kids can dress up as fishermen.
Anything exciting in the Hamptons this summer?
My friend Aerin [Lauder] has a new store! It’s got everything from sandals to bikinis.
Where are we least likely to find you?
Surfing. I’ve never tried and I’m not going to.
The Fifth Annual Family Affair is on Saturday July 20th from 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at CMEE, 376 Bridgehamtpon/Sam Harbor Turnpike
