Not only does Chic adore Lisa Salzer of Lulu Frost personally, but we're in awe of her talent. We've asked her to write a column to tell us how she turns the smallest items into works of art.  What will she come up with every week?

"In honor of my new column, appropriately named 'Transformations,' I'm going to tell you about my transformation from 2010 into 2011 and the project that gave me hours of New Years Eve fun. (Parties are so overrated). When faced with my only two options, one being an NKOTB revival concert on TV and the other, an art project, I chose the latter. I searched around my apartment and found the ever-creative tools of printer paper and a black sharpie. Transformations can happen with the most basic household items! With a few quick strokes of the marker and some motivational phrases, I managed to create a piece or two of art that now adorn my walls. If you throw it in a simple white frame, you've got a cheap, fun and easy way to dress up your home or office.  Don't be afraid to draw on a little inspiration from your favorite artist... Can you tell who mine is? Thanks, HG!   Xoxo, Lisa"
