While you were dashing from one runway show to another during Paris Fashion Week, 25 Park boutique owner Alison Brettschneider was in the middle of her own Parisian adventure. Live from the front lines...
Paris has been a whirlwind! We flew out late Sunday night. Thankfully, the seats turn into beds, so we woke up when we were landing not even knowing we slept the whole way. Steve, our loyal guide/driver/bodyguard who works for us every trip, was waiting to lug all of our luggage. Poor guy! We had 12 pairs of shoes between us for only three days in Paris!
Before going to the Four Seasons Hotel George V to check out the amazing flower-filled lobby as well as our breathtaking suite, we stopped at our all-time favorite store, Montaigne Market! We also found some time to sneak in a few visits to our favorite boutiques: Celine, Balenciaga, Marni, Lanvin, Chanel, Balmain, Givenchy, and Alaia. Loving the new trends we are seeing. Our top picks? White leather, cut-outs, crop tops, embellished sweatshirts, and pajama pants. Can't wait to get them in the store!
Afterward, we were off to a day full of buying. Nina Ricci, Carven, Matthew Williamson, A.L.C., Acne, and Rick Owens, here we come! In between all the sick clothing, we made our way to our favorite lunch hotspot, L'Avenue. Nothing wrong with lunching next to Kate Moss (although it can make you not want to eat quite as much!).
Before collapsing from 9 hours of buying, we found ourselves with the beautiful people at the famed Hotel Costes with a glass of rosé, better known as our summer water in the Hamptons and their amazing steak frites. We hope our clothes can still fit tomorrow! Off to another fabulous day of appointments...
