On Thursday night, while the Sandy-strewn New York fashion set was desperately in search of a hot (and perferably haute) shower, the Los Angelean contingent was doing just fine. Case in point: the scene at the Sunset Tower, where Devi Kroell threw a dinner to celebrate its summer collection. Ali Larter, Claiborne Swanson Frank and Minnie Mortimer Gaghan took on hostess duties, while the likes of Jeff Klein, Crystal Lourd, and Christos Garkinos enjoyed a dinner en terrace.
