Le Book Honors Mapplethorpe
Le Book New York 2010 features the work of legendary photographer Robert Mapplethorpe (1946 – 1989), including his famous nude and statuary images influenced specifically by New York City’s artists, musicians, socialites, bodybuilders, and other characters representative of the city. This year, Le Book is playing a role in persevering Mapplethorpe’s legacy and illustrious body of work. The New York 2010 reference will be available for purchase in March through their website and at select locations including Colette in Paris, 10 Corso Como in Milan and MoMA Design Stores throughout the U.S.
