(NEW YORK) Publicists, start your fashion show seat shuffling: today, Condé Nast has named Brandon Holley editor in chief of Lucky magazine, succeeding Kim France, who founded the magazine in 2000. No reason has been given for France’s abrupt departure.

Holley most recently served as the editor in chief of Yahoo women’s website Shine. She’s best known as the editor of Condé Nast’s Jane magazine, which shuttered in July 2007. Previously, Holley founded and served as editor in chief of Elle Girl, which folded in April 2006.
