Killing Time Au Musee

It's a blessing and a curse for Sao Paulo Fashion Week to take place almost entirely under one roof (in the gorgeous Oscar Neimeyer-designed Bienal building). A blessing because it means no running between shows, no outrageous cab expenses, no cross-town rushing, but a curse because, well, 8 hours in one enclosed space can make Chic go a bit stir-crazy. Enter the Sao Paulo Museum of Modern Art (Museu de Arte Moderna de São Paulo, or MAM), just a few yards away in the Ibirapuera Park, which has an extra dose of culture, a cafe perfect for a quick escape, and a museum gift shop.
