Karl Keeps it Safe
While Karl Lagerfeld certainly doesn’t try to be safe when it comes to ingenious design, but when your valuables are at stake, he’s got your back. Lagerfeld and the German safe manufacturers, Döttling, have teamed up to create the Narcissus: a super-sleek, limited-edition security device, complete with high-gloss chrome doors and interior cabinets, watch winders and jewelry drawers. There are only 30 of these babies in existence, and at $339,000 you may not have any valuables left to place inside once you’ve made the purchase. However, even if the 6 ft. safe is entirely empty, it promises to look formidable looming in your walk-in closet.
