Designer Linda Kostowski’s “realfakewatches” are deliciously misleading. The wristwatches only work for one minute every day (two for analog watches), and each is laser cut from three pieces of leather and fastened with Velcro. Each watch comes with a unique time, and so for at least one minute a day you are guaranteed not to be late. The other 1,439 minutes? You’re on your own. THE DETAILS: Cooper-Hewitt Shop, $50, Member Price, $45
