Chicaholic has seen its fair share of typical bar hotspots but it's always refreshing when they mix up their entertainment as well as they do their cocktails. Case in point: Thom Bar. We stopped by its new Cuban Sunday night party featuring live music by the lively Grupo Irék—they’ve played for everyone from Ashton to Oscar—who had people on the floor instead of clinging to the banquets. A mash up of classic Cuban tunes like Son, Cha-Cha, and Mambo combined with singer Chino Pons' slick footwork will have you feeling like you're in the islands in no time. Complete the summer feel with the bar's signature pineapple caipirinha or mojito served with bitters just like in Cuba! An authentic experience in a darkened NYC lounge? We'll drink to that!
