Haider Ackermann Has VPL
Anyone who even marginally covers Paris Fashion Week knows that it's all about Haider Ackermann. The Colombian, who studied in Antwerp, hit Gotham last night to celebrate the opening of his friend Victoria Bartlett's very first VPL boutique, located in Soho at 5 Mercer Street. With Hannelore Knuts on the turntables and spiked lemonade and treats from Sullivan Street Bakery fueling the action, guests checked out the decor, loosely inspired by an old-school gym, complete with rings hanging from the ceiling and pommel horse-esque benches.
