Glamour has named 16-year-old Malala Yousafzai as one of their 2013 Women of the Year. Her Malala Fund will also be the recipient of money rasied by the Women of the Year Fund initiative supporting girls education globally. It was a year ago this week that she was shot and nearly killed by the Taliban when she tried to attend school. She has since been nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize, published a book, and this week had Jon Stewart in the palm of her hand during an appearance on his show. Glamour is asking readers to make donation and spread the word about Malala’s mission. You can even help by sharing the photo of her in this item on Twitter or Instagram and tagging @glamourmag and using #MalalaWoty, to be entered for a chance to win a trip to Glamour's Women of the Year Awards in New York City this November.
