(NEW YORK) The Train + The Box tradeshow has left the city but if you didn't make it to the space, fear not, Chic's got a quick snapshot of the highlights. The brainchild of Muriel Piaser—who's off to Paris and then Toyko to close out the season—gave us an insider stroll around the booths to see what brands its introducing to the U.S. including a strong contingent of French designers (natch) but also Korean, Swedish and beyond. “We wanted to introduce something different like more of a lifestyle vision," she explained in between greeting smiling guests and countless air-kisses. "We created [this] thinking we can bring something different to the show in New York. It's more like a big showroom with lifestyle. And it also travels and brings designers to different markets." And unlike massive tradeshows, Plaiser's handpicked selection of 80 companies is short and very chic, which kept the Eleventh Ave. venue heavenly serene.
