Ready, set, taste! Get ready for an embarrassment of riches in the mobile-resto department at the Bridgehampton Food Truck Derby on August 10, brought to you by Edible East End and the Hayground School. Make it a “linner” (lunch + dinner) kind of a Friday as over 15 gourmet trucks and a host of booze purveyors will gather from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Nab a morsel from each, including NYC faves like Rickshaw Dumplings and Morris Grilled Cheese, as well as local truckstars like Hibachi Heaven, The Cupcake Truck from Southampton, Montauk’s Montaco, and Westhampton’s Hampton Coffee. Plus! The all-you-can-drink libations include vino by Wölffer Estate Vineyards, Peconic Bay Winery, and Duck Walk Vineyards, as well as beers by Brooklyn Brewery and Southampton Publick House. Needless to say, you might consider exercising before you go.
