Fit To Be Bow Tied

We doubt Cam and Mitchell could be this entrepreneurial and generous, but Modern Family's Jesse Tyler Ferguson and his fiancée, Justin Mikita, are a different story. Last year the duo launched Tie the Knot, a line of cute bow ties that symbolize the struggle for marriage equality, while raising dough for various organizations that are fighting for civil rights for gay and lesbian Americans. Last night at Chelsea's recently-rebooted haute spot, Avenue, the boys celebrated their Spring 2013 collection with Isaac Mizrahi, Joan Rivers, Rachel Dratch, Lea DeLaria, and Michael Urie. Our potential next mayor, Christine Quinn, also came out to lend her support! This season, Mizrahi has designed a bow tie for the collection that's selling for a very reasonable $25, with proceeds going to the Respect for Marriage Coalition. We're sure we can get Hamish Bowles to come over for lessons on how to tie a bow tie for free.
