Iconic photograher Ellen von Unwerth was front row (seated next to Rachel Zoe) at the Viktor & Rolf show in Paris, and she happily obliged a line of fans who wanted to take her photo.
Do you like having your photograph taken?
I'm used to it. I used to be a model.
The street photographers outside of the show were very intense today!
Oh my God! It's like there are more people taking the pictures than coming to see the shows. They're not always very good photographers, but it's OK. You find weird pictures of yourself on the internet, but you don't want to be unfriendly. You have to give them their chance.
Thoughts on the show?
I loved it. I thought it was super glamorous. I love the fantasy that you can expect from Viktor & Rolf, it gives me lots of ideas for shooting. As a photographer, there are so many stories I saw there. The clothes were super beautiful. I loved the mirror bows. It was very Studio 54.
How many shows do you normally see during Paris Fashion Week?
I always go to this, Jean Paul Gaultier, Vivienne Westwood and Chanel.
What else is new?
I'm coming out with a new book in December.
BONUS: We later spotted von Unwerth taking the metro! Our kinda gal!
