Did Vogue Misquote Benny?
Juicy! Jennifer Lopez tells Access Hollywood that longtime manager Benny Medina was misquoted in the current profile on her in Vogue. Medina apparently went on record saying, "The thing that I always sort of wished is that she would give herself time to just naturally meet someone. Instead of having nearly obsessive guys pursue her. The ease with which that obsessive guys pursue her. The ease with which that obssession becomes a relationship I think sometimes works against her ability to have a real meaningful relationship." Not so fast—J.Lo no likey. She claims that Medina didn't say that: "I know Benny," she tells AH. "He's like my best friend, my creative soul mate, and I know the way he says things, and I know he would never say anything about me that would be hurtful to me in any way. Things can be taken out of context." But she's not upset with writer Jonathan Van Meter. "I love Jonathan. We get along very well. He's interviewed me for years." Let's get that transcript out, loves!
