We asked Stefano Tonchi and Eric Wilson who they'd pick as a contender to take over Deborah Needlleman's office at WSJ., and they both threw Financial Times fashion editor Vanessa Friedman's name into the ring. We tracked her down at Masison Martin Margiela to get her reaction...

Stefano Tonchi thinks you'd be a great replacement for Deborah Needleman at WSJ. Would you ever entertain that?
That's very nice of Stefano! I'm very happy at the FT.

Any thoughts on a good choice?
My head is so in Paris fashion week at the moment, and out of New York media...It depends on what they want, and I don't know what they want.

Thoughts on Dior?
It was a very gentle show, and a continuation of what Raf did at the couture shows. It was a melding of the past and the present and felt very relevant. The models could walk! They walked with momentum, they could stride. There's a real sense of movement in fashion at the moment and that's good, because it needs that.

Where did you see models struggling?
The girls could not walk at the Rochas show!
