Mickey House
The NY Times Real Estate section recently visited Mickey Boardman's cozy Mott St. abode. The walkup apartment includes drawings of Michael Jackson, busts of Jimmy Carter and Gandhi, and a geisha figurine he bought in Chinatown. Does this surprise anyone? Paper's beloved editorial director tells writer Jacob Bernstein that when he first came to Manhattan, he lived on the Upper East Side, but couldn't take it. "Those are not my people," he quipped.
