Chow Time With The CFDA Eco Winners
On Thursday, tweeting early birds convened on the mezzanine at ABC Carpet & Home to throw back a shot of Organic Avenue's "Geen Love" and nibble glazed donuts with the CFDA/Lexus eco-fash challenge winners: John Bartlett (cradling his puffer-wearing pup) and Marcia Patmos, along with Pamela Love, Loomstate, Gary Graham, Melissa Joy Manning, Leah Levin, Ryan Roche, and Jason Ross. Pourquoi? The luxe home decor boutique is foraying into fashion with Embody, a hand-curated apparel and accessories collective comprised of a steady roster of the eco-fash champs. Also on rack? Brands like DvF, Urban Zen, Loomstate, Natalia Allen, and Ryan Roche. "This is a great way to start the day in the best store in New York City. You can get lost here for hours," said CFDA prez Steven Kolb. "Plus, this is the best breakfast I've had in a long time!"
