Cartier in Bloom
What better way to officially welcome springtime than with baubles and lunch at Café Boulud? Yesterday afternoon Emmanuel Perrin, president and CEO of Cartier North America, Mercedes Abramo, director of Cartier New York and Norma Dana, co-founder of the Women's Committee, Central Park Conservancy hosted a cocktail reception and lunch to celebrate "Platinum Jewels in Bloom,” benefiting The Central Park Conservancy Playground Partners. Attendees including Gillian Miniter, president of the Women’s Committee of the Central Park Conservancy and Mercedes Abramo, director of Cartier New York enjoyed a spring luncheon of pea soup, pan seared striped bass and indulged in a delectable bittersweet brownie with goat’s milk ice cream—a perfect exclamation point to end a delightful afternoon uptown. Co-founder Dana declared, “This is a wonderful occasion because each and every one of you is a beautiful flower, yourself!” Why, thank you Ms. Dana!
