Bon Weekend: Hugh Jackman Earns His Yen!

Comments | | Print

We all know that actors love taking 14-hour flights to Tokyo and earning seven figures in less than a day’s work. They advertise everything from shaving cream to bubble gum to insurance--and the best part is, no one really gets to see their quickies for money outside of the Japanese national border lines. But once in a while, there comes along a commercial like Hugh Jackman endorsing Lipton iced tea that seems to elevate this Lost in Translation sort of art. The Wolverine performs a very happy number that appears to be inspired by Christopher Walken’s work in that famous Fatboy Slim clip. Playing a bored hotel guest gone berserk with a one sip of iced tea, Jackman smiles, dances, and walks on water as we delightfully admire his talents.
