Reel Life: BLK DNM Nominated For A Vimeo Award
Paging Cannes! BLK DNM is up for a Vimeo Award, and the voting process is getting serious at The Daily HQ with stiff competition coming from a Mulberry mini and an Opening Ceremony short. BLK DNM creative director Johan Lindeberg teamed up with Danish director Martin de Thurah last year to collab on a seven-minute short called Film 2--a follow-up vid to Film 1 about a post-divorce fling with a sultry muse, played by model Raina Hamner. This is the second season for the Vimeo fashion category. This year a panel of esteemed judges, from OC's Humberto Leon to Nicola Formichetti, narrowed the nominees to twelve. Now it's up to you! Vote on your favorite here. Category winners will be awarded a $5,000 grant while grand prize winners will get to take home a $25,000 grant. Vimeo Awards will be announced on June 7.
