Blake Lively Rumor Control: "It's Killing Her" to Miss the Chanel Show
Last night, Chanel hosted cocktails and a private dinner honoring Blake Lively, the brand's latest ambassador. As guests were taking their seats at La Grenouille, a visibly upset Lively confronted a reporter whose site posted a rumor that the actress thought it was "tacky for a celebrity like herself to attend the show." "Why would you do that to me?" asked Lively. "That's just mean." Lively's publicist set the record straight, telling Chic that the Gossip Girl starlet would love to sit front row at Chanel, but she has obligations to shoot the season finale of Gossip Girl. "It's killing her!" to miss the show, the publicist added. But no worries—Lively will get her Kaiser time this weekend, when she will attend a Chanel dinner in her honor.
