Oscar de la Renta Toasts 'The Big Book Of Chic'
Last eve, Oscar de la Renta hosted a book bash for Assouline's The Big Book Of Chic at Allison Sarofim's gorge West Village townhouse. Joining the stylish set for a flute or two of bubbly? The likes of Prosper and Martine Assouline (talk about a chic couple!), author Miles Redd, Tinsley Mortimer, and Carlos Mota. As for Mr. de la Renta's two cents on the titular matter of the hour: "Chic is chic! It's how one lives life: with a lot of discipline and a love of beautiful things." Touché!
