Despite recent legal issues, LVMH CEO Bernard Arnault has been approved by the Queen to receive an Order of the British Empire, dubbing him Knight Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (No, Chic did not make that title up). According to Telegraph UK, he is receiving the title "for services to business and the wider community in the U.K." Who will bestow such an honor on Arnault? None other than Sir Peter Ricketts, the British ambassador to France, during a ceremony which will be held at the British Embassy in Paris at a future date. Hopefully the Queen can work around his October 4, 2013 hearing.
