Beacons of Marni
Architect Matteo Thun and Consuelo Castiglioni have teamed up to create “The Wooden Beacons,” Thun’s latest installation featuring “hardware” elements like red oak interacting with “software” materials, notably, bales filled with Marni fabrics in various prints. Stroll through the courtyard of the Marni boutique in Via Senato to view the wooden plank installation. The project explores the notion of unexpected juxtaposing, and we love this ingenious collab. Thun explains, “There is nothing that grows old faster than the new.”
